BOARD MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, April 6, 1999

Board members met in the Board meeting room at the Grandview Heights Library.

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.

MINUTES: Minutes from the March 2 meeting were reviewed.

OLD BUSINESS:

• 2000 Photo Project: The Board discussed the proposed Year 2000 Photo Project. A letter will be sent from the Society endorsing the project
• The Chillicothe Bus Trip and related advertising was discussed.
• Subcommittee reports were given by board members:
1. WRITING GH/MC HISTORY - no discussion
2. TECHNOLOGY - digital storage space options were discussed; modifications and additions to the Web site were discussed.
3. MEMBERSHIP - no new items
4. NEWSLETTER - size, design, content and distribution ideas were presented
5. OHIO 2003 - no discussion
6. HOME TOUR - possible sites were discussed

• Mr. William (Bill) Koch was presented as a new Board member

• Possible future meeting venues were discussed

ADJOURNMENT: The meeting adjourned at 8:40 p.m. The next Board meeting will be held on Tuesday evening, May 4, 1999 at 7:00 p.m at the GH/MCHS Board Room of the Grandview Library.
