SocietyMr. Alan Leamy was the District Manager of the Welsbach Company of Philadelphia, a maker of gas mantles.
His son, Alan H. Leamy was a premiere designer of automobiles, including the Duesenberg, Cord and Packard
of the late 20s and early 30s. Alan H. Leamy is shown in the bottom photo; a collection of his designs can be
seen in an issue of Automobile Quarterly (which can be viewed as a PDF file.)
