End of the Trolley Line

Arlington and Fifth

The Trolley ran from downtown Columbus to the Grandview Heights/Marble Cliff area. The top photo is at the

corner of Arlington Avenue and Fifth Avenue (1915.) The middle photos show the end-of-the-line stop at what is

now the Miller Park Library in Upper Arlington in 1921 and a motorman on the line, and the bottom photo shows a

boarding/departure shack on the line in 1920.

Arlington/GrandviewMarble Cliff trolley - motorman is Will Stainer, brother of George Stainer,
who owned the photo album that held this photo and wrote the note you see partially at the bottom.
