Grandview
Heights / Marble Cliff Historical
SocietyThe Trolley ran from downtown Columbus to the Grandview Heights/Marble Cliff area. The top photo is at the
corner of Arlington Avenue and Fifth Avenue (1915.) The middle photos show the end-of-the-line stop at what is
now the Miller Park Library in Upper Arlington in 1921 and a motorman on the line, and the bottom photo shows a
boarding/departure shack on the line in 1920.

Arlington/GrandviewMarble Cliff trolley -
motorman is Will Stainer, brother of George Stainer,
who owned the photo album that held this photo and wrote the note you see partially
at the bottom.
Thanks to Terry Smith for the photo.
