In the Spring of 2008, 4th grade Edison Intermediate School students under the direction of teachers Tami Biandudi, Jean Gartland, and Marc Alter, and with input from the Society, began a project to develop a DVD for incoming students to the Intermediate School. It was titled “Grandview 101”. It featured individual vignettes including: Community History, School History, Grandview Traditions, Bobcat Athletics, and What Makes Grandview Unique. The students used the Society’s webpage as their source material, developed all the content, narrated the DVD, and starred in the production. The DVD also features cameo appearances by former Grandview Schools teachers and staff. It garnered rave reviews. The thirty minute video can be viewed by clicking button below.
